PETER J. CROWLEY, Senior Managing Director
Peter Crowley joined MTS Health Partners in 2011 as a Senior Managing Director. Additionally, since April 2008, Peter Crowley has been an operating partner at JH Partners, a private equity firm managing close to $1 billion of institutional funds. Mr. Crowley has been involved with JH for over ten years as a both a director of portfolio companies and an investor. JH currently owns over twenty companies in the consumer and luxury goods sectors. Mr. Crowley retired from CIBC World Markets in April of 2008. Mr. Crowley spent 23 years at CIBC World Markets, the last fourteen as global head of healthcare investment banking. As global head of healthcare Mr. Crowley was involved in over five hundred transactions and over $30 billion of capital raised and transactions consummated. Such transactions include a public and private equity and debt financings and mergers and acquisitions transactions for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare services and healthcare technology companies. Mr. Crowley was also heavily involved with the healthcare principal investments made by CIBC Capital Partners. Prior to CIBC Mr. Crowley worked for Allen & Company in venture capital and Blyth Eastman Paine Webber in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Crowley is currently a vice chairman of the board of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and a board member of Woodbury Health Products, Continuum Hospitals, the Foundation Fighting Blindness and Rye Country Day School. He is on the board of private companies La Perla, Ouidad and Napastyle and is the Chairman of the public company Progenics Pharmaceuticals. He was previously on the boards of Bare Escentuals, and Jurlique. He is a committee member of the Harvard Alumni Association and member of the council of Rockefeller University. Mr. Crowley graduated from Harvard College in 1981 and received a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University in 1985.
